Brazilian artist Roger Mello is signing a piece of artwork that he is donating for an auction to benefit the IBBY Children in Crisis fund. He is the winner of the 2014 Hans Christian Andersen Award, the highest international honor in children's literature. We asked him to create a piece of art for the cover of our journal, "Bookbird," and in his typically generous style, he gave it as a gift to benefit the organization's work.
