Asian Herb Revives by jyokota

Asian Herb Revives

I found a nearly-dead plant at the supermarket, and it was labeled, "Asian Herb." I felt sad for it, rejected and ready to be tossed, so I brought it home. It's not an herb that's used in Japanese cooking, but I snipped little pieces of it and put it in my salad. I trimmed off all the really dead parts, gave it a little water and put it in my window sill. The next morning -- surprise! it looks like it's going to live a little longer!
Great composition and pov!

It looks like flat leave parsley to me but what do I know.

Looks like Cilantro (Coriander) from here, and it's used often in Thailand and VietNam, I think....also Mexico?

Well done, heroic plant rescue! I think it's coriander - bought ones are usually fairly floppy.

I hope your kindness brings you good karma... or, at least, a good ingredient. ;)

It looks like coriander to me, and I use it in Thai cooking the most. You are so sweet to save it.
