I've fretted with this one so much that I just need to post it and say, "I can't get it right." I HDRed it with only one image to get the texture in the water to show up, which I like, but now the sky looks weird. I do like the composition. Thanks to @islambad for suggesting this location!
My first response was Oh how beautiful! I think it looks just like sunset or sunrise just giving that light and colour under the bridge! Great composition! I think you did a great job here Junko. Fav!
If I'm not mistaken, did you use a very slow shutter speed to soften the sea water - stunning capture. Every time I see the Sydney opera house it makes me want to return. Seeing all your shots makes me realize just how beautiful Sydney is.
@rookynook -- I used a filter and slow shutter speed, but I opted for texture and that's why I used the one-shot HDR to make it not be so flat and white. Maybe I should post the pre-HDR version to show why I wasn't quite pleased with it. I ran out of ideas for how to "fix" it post production.
What amazing captures you have come up with. This is great - the sunset colours and the silhouette iconic shapes, and the foreground rocks. All so well combined.
