The Weiskirche is a UNESCO World Heritage site rococo church built in the 1700s. It became an enormously popular pilgrimage site when word spread about the miracle of tears on the wooden statue of Christ, and then more miracles were reported. I've wanted to see this place for ten years, but you need a car to get here, and I don't have one in Germany. Fortunately, friends rented a car and brought us here.
I always think that ceilings are one of the best things in many church buildings. Lying on the floor looking up is the best way to see them! Lovely shot, wonderful colour in the details.
Absolutely beautiful in all its detail, colour and gilding. I'm so glad you got to see this magnificent sight and share it with us. Your pov is excellent to display the full splendour of this place.
