It was truly packed with people everywhere, so beyond the shots like I posted with the young women waiting to take selfies in front of the fountain, I had to go over all their heads to photograph the fountain itself. Hmm -- seems a bit strange, though, when you don't see the bottom 20%.
It’s a lovely fountain, when we were there I asked our guide when it wasn’t crowded. With a twinkle in her eye and a tiny smile on her lips she said “midnight on Tuesdays”.
What an incredible-looking place! I'm happy to see even a portion of it through your photo since it's one place I'll probably never have opportunity to visit in person.
I thought you had been up at the crack of Dawn to get this without tourists but you raised your arms! I threw coins in the fountain but have yet to return! Lovely in sepia!
I'd really rather missing the bottom 20% than seeing it surrounded by tourists. The building behind it is such a good match that they make a wonderful image together. And the sepia shows the intricate details beautifully.
