This is so powerful, and I like this version for many reason. The emotion comes through so strongly, while the b&w also captures the surreal feelings you've expressed. Brilliant work and both moving and artistic.
My eyes are welling with tears, Junko, as I'm looking at your picture. Even so strong, capable, self-assured an individual as you can lose her breath and composure when such a soul mate is torn away. I lack all your attributes, and know I'd crumble in a like situation, so you might imagine how strongly I feel for you and your loss. I think of you often and wish I could offer more solace...
I have been virtually gone from here for some time, so just checking in on a few friends. This photo has a lot of strength in the lines and disjointed pieces--fragments of a mirror shattered also make it feel like mixed media. The missing eyes make the viewer feel a void. Powerful Junko.
