@jyokota We toured on our own. We rented a car in Punta Arenas and drove up and stayed in the park for a week. Then drove back to Punta Arenas and took a boat to Antartica. It was suppose to be a trip of a lifetime and it was, but we keep adding “trips of a lifetime”. We are off to Costa Rica for 3 weeks and 12 days of it will be with Joseph Van Oss photography tours. He does photo tours all over the world and are very highly rated. I will let you know how it goes.
@moonmtn -- sadly, I won't be renting cars and driving around any more like we used to since I'm now mostly solo (except when I can talk Taffy into traveling with me). I'll look into Joseph Van Oss photo trips and look forward to hearing your report on it. I loved Costa Rica -- once when I went with Taffy, and the other time with a non-photography friend. I photographed a toucan flying overhead in the wild and it's one of those unforgettable moments! Enjoy your trip!
