I get a text from @vankrey. "They must be teaching backyard birding in my neighbor's backyard. There's a whole line of birders with binoculars and they've been there for hours."

This beauty flew from Mexico/Nicaragua all the way to northern Illinois, and has only been recorded here twice in the history of written birding records here. I feel very lucky to have seen and photographed him!
