Interior Pipes of UofC Chiller Plant

Interior workings of the Chiller Plant at University of Chicago, designed by architect Helmut Jahn. It provides chilled water and steam to the university.

Exterior image here:

Reminds me SO much of the "crazy pink pipes" in Berlin: http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2013-02-22
and its sibling: https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2013-03-08
But OMG they are SO crooked -- clearly I didn't know back then that I should straighten to the building and not to a temporary pipe!
These look cool. I had a look at your other images - they look quirky and interesting just as they are.
