Taffy and I were scheduled to fly off island today at noon, and begin our week-long trip to photograph waterfalls and fall colors on the Upper Peninsula. But. Fog. After sitting at the little airport for hours, it became evident that the only way off island will be taking a boat tomorrow. We'll miss our sunset and sunrise at Mackinaw Island Bridge and our side trip to the Tahquamenon Falls and to Pictured Rocks but we should be able to get to Ironwood before nightfall to meetup with the group. Meanwhile, the Beaver Island lighthouse and the fog gave us photo opps.
