Old Post Office in Singapore by jyokota

Old Post Office in Singapore

I was lucky to be sitting at the front area of the water bus (a bit scary as I could have slid right into the water!) and capture this nighttime view of what is now a hotel, but originally built as a post office in colonial days.

In contrast, an image of very modern architecture: http://365project.org/jyokota/challenges-and/2014-06-01
Barbara, Kathy, and I stayed there!! It's an amazing hotel with a fabulous chocolate buffet in the evenings (we went only once). What a fantastic photo of the site. Fav!! And great memories!

I saw this building to. Stunning representation of colonial architecture. I think this was the one we went inside and saw a wonderful pool of koi carp in the reception area.
