Cardinal Flower by k9photo

Cardinal Flower

“There are not more than five primary colors (blue, yellow, red, white, and black), yet in combination they produce more hues than can ever been seen.” (Sun Tzu, The Art of War) Our cardinal flower is just beginning to bloom. The flower shape is very appealing to hummingbirds as their long beaks and tongue can reach the nectar inside the narrow flower.
What a lovely interesting flower.
