inner workings of a piano

I am not sure if the squarish composition works here, but I get attached to details and this was the best shape to fit them all in. This piano dates from 1905, it is irretrievably out of tune and earmarked for dismantling but is such a work of art.

The lines are incredible. The caption on the top of the piano will save this for posterity. I agree with everyone - the clarity and color are magnificent. This will inspire me to look to objects.
