feijoa jam!

I spent the evening making feijoa jam. and yes that is spelt right , I checked.
lack lustre grey winter days are saved by the June kitchen theme.

@plumtree500 yep, certainly wont pay $12kg at the supermarket for jam! the kids get sick of them after the first few loads, not so sweet this year, maybe it was the drought but anyhow I tried this jam for the first time ( annabel langbein recipe) and its not bad.

I love Feijoas. Was so sad that they were not ready when I was home for a visit just a short while ago. I have seen them and Tamarillos here but they are about $2 each!!
