Wow that is really cool. Is that a dish sitting in a sink of water with the tap running? What ever it is I like it!!

Thanks for the challenge - interesting! I'm really gonna try but time and energy are all a bit short at the moment! My challenge for you is to produce an image that makes you smile/laugh, an insight into your psyche maybe...

This is such an interesting shot! I wondered at what 'it' was in the sink, and ended up not caring as I liked the overall image (then I wondered again, but more for how to create something like it!).

I first saw an apple being sliced in half under water. This is a very effective image :)

@linzthom why thankyou Lindsay, do you think there is enough movement? otherwise I could save it for impressionism

@gigiz @kazlamont fruity! @taffy I have been seeing beautiful water movement shots including your niagara falls, and just thought as I saw the light sparkling in the water pouring from the tap into these bowls and on/off the knife and thought I would try and capture it at low speed, I had lots with the knife sharp, and the bowls more frothy looking but in the end it was the extra movement from trying to hand hold that stole the show and I did some deliberately, just a bit on this 1/2 sec exposure, but enough for a painterly effect. the metal and water seem to go together well, you get lots of different tones off the reflective surfaces. @carolinedreams @aprilmilani I appreciate that truly :) @mijade scary?
