out on a limb

for my get-pushed challenge this week from Sally Ings, @salza I need to think about negative space

I have used this idea before when a subject presented itself, but intentionally trying to find a shot which uses it I have found difficult. my surroundings seem very cluttered and I have probably overthunk it! you can probably see where I have extended the branch lol
@salza my brain is going overtime with this challenge

Nice idea. A tip, watch for "pokies" that touch the subject, the out of focus leaf in this case. If you had just moved a little to the right it would work way better.

HI looks like he is out on a limb. And...wondering where to go. The monotone browns are lovely.

I have a hard time with negative space. I think this is wonderful. Great job extending the branch, I never would have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it.

I love negative space. And then I see my work on 365 (the tile does such horrible justice to a photo--half the time, you get to see about nothing). I really love this one.

@jean_willis my sx50 has a big zoom, but quite a bit of colour aberation at the end. @plumtree500 usually a last resort out in the garden in the golden hour :)
