I photographed the little flower buds before http://365project.org/kali66/365/2013-12-11
here the flowers have finished and the seeds are forming , beautiful shapes and textures. I have been enjoying having my camera set on black and white mode.
I revisited the earlier photo - beautiful. As is this with those amazing shapes.

@ikamera probably not, as these are a new zealand native although I am sure there are other plants like it around the world, these are the remnants, @espyetta the stuff is the dead 'petals' which are red strands which stand out like a pompom when they are new.
