I would say it's more than just a "street shot of sorts." Splendid shot -- it fits your album title perfectly. The charming little one in the foreground is clearly the subject, but the street itself provides more than just a backdrop. Bravo.

martyrdom is more effective than well-executed survival, oftentimes...eg jesus, hitler, martin luther king, jr, etc.

a very feeling image...a scene that suggests both an immediate story and a whole life. my favorite part is that her feet are bare...i think that is pretty significant in the concepts involved. very modern seeming, almost like a book cover, perhaps, more than an album cover.
