I had meetings today that would prevent me from getting out for a photo at lunch, so I opted instead to stop at India Point Park on my way into work. I was fortunate enough to get there just as three members of the Brown University Crew rowed down the Providence River. It was just after sunrise, so there was still a nice glow in the south-eastern sky. That is the Port of Providence you see in the background, and the three huge eyesores are the windmills recently installed but not yet operational at the Port.
Post processing today started with a warm tone filter in Topaz Adjust. To sharpen the image a hair, I layered a detail light Topaz Adjust filter, desaturated, in soft light blend mode using a high pass filter at 3.6 pixels. I added a gradient map to the sky to enhance the contrast and draw out the color, then added a second gradient map to the water to keep the tones consistent. Both gradient maps were in soft light blend mode. A slight levels adjustment completed the image.
Thanks, everyone! Sorry for the delay in responding. It's been a hectic week. LOL
