This street performer found some shade on the sidewalk at Kennedy Plaza for a noontime performance. You don't see too much of this in Providence, for some reason. At least, not to the levels that you see in some of the other major cities in the US. It's our loss, unfortunately. These street performers add a certain character and flair to an otherwise drab city setting. Having seen some outstanding performances on the streets of New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans, I'd say the lack of these casual performances is to our detriment. Given the number of coins and bills in his case, it would seem a lot of passers-by welcomed his presence today.
Post processing started with a detail light filter in Topaz Adjust. From there I did the black and white conversion with a gradient map in color blend mode. Hues were adjusted to achieve better contrast and detail. A levels adjustment was added and the top layer was a sepia photo filter.
