Old, New, Borrowed, Blue

There's something I find fascinating about that old tugboat docked in front of the IWAY Bridge on the Providence side of the Seekonk River. This photo was taken from the East Bay Bike Path on the East Providence side of the river, and it shows a few of the city's landmarks. The three chimneys are part of the Narragansett Grid Electric Company's power plant. The two square towers in the back are part of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence. As to the caption, the Something Old is the tugboat, Something New is the IWAY Bridge, Something Borrowed is the small rented sailboat ambling up stream, and the Something Blue is, well, just about everything above and below the centerline of the photo. At some point, I'll get a closer shot of that tug, if I can only find an accessible location from which to shoot.

Post processing started with a simple pop filter in Topaz Adjust. Adaptive exposure, contrast, strength, detail boost, and sharpen sliders were also adjusted. In PSE, levels were adjusted for contrast.
