The temperature skyrocketed overnight, reaching 50 degrees by the time I left for work this morning. Couple that temperature with the 5 inches of snow that was on the ground yesterday and you end up with a very thick layer of fog and a lot of ground melt. I decided to stop at India Point Park on my way into work, hoping to photograph the fog on the water. The lights across the river should make an interesting background and should highlight the fog. While I was composing that scene, I heard some splashing behind me and turned around just in time to see this runner passing by. I took one photo - this one - and it was an extremely quick "turn and shoot". There was no time to compose the image or adjust any settings. My camera was set to capture the fog on the bay, so I'm actually very surprised at how well this came out.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, contrast, regions, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
