Under the tutelage of head coach Ray Treacy, the Providence College women's Cross Country team is solidly entrenched in the world stage, attracting the best female athletes from around the globe. They are the only sport at PC to have won a national championship. In today's photo, you see Kim Smith (on the right,) a 2005 graduate from PC and two-time Olympian from New Zealand. Kim competed in the 10K in the 2008 Olympics and in the marathon in the 2012 Olympics. I believe the runner on the left (wearing the headband) is Sarah Mary Cullin, currently entering her junior year at Providence College and a native of Switzerland, but that's not a positive ID yet. The headband's making it tough to compare with a couple of other top women that call Providence their home.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
