Wickford Harbor

Wickford, Rhode Island
The mild weather continued today so I decided to visit Wickford. I was hoping there would be some fishermen or some lobstermen around the docks, but it was pretty dead, today. I took several photos around the docks, but really liked this one with the ladder lying next to the wharf. Presumably, it's to allow a boater access to their boat, but since the ladder was up top and the boat wasn't there, I'd say someone's in for a surprise when they return.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
@justaspark Thanks, Jule! It's one of my favorite spots in RI. It's a tiny village that dates back to the early 17th century. I could do an entire year's worth of photos in that one village.
