I went downcity at lunch today for a bit of street photography. It didn't take long to find today's photo. About a hundred yards from where I parked, I spotted this gentleman sitting on a bench in the Roger Williams National Memorial strumming a banjo. The snow and ice on the ground tell us that winter is still here, but today's mild weather had him relaxing in the park. It's a common site in Rhode Island as winter comes to a close. People take advantage of any uptick in the temperature to get outside.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-BFGh4C3/0/XL/2014%2003%2011_0005%20copy-XL.jpg
Cool find and composition here :)

@cejaanderson Thanks, Jane. It's always interesting to see folks grasping at the warmer weather whenever it pops up for a day.
