Abandoned In the Rain

The weather was threatening, so I went to Lincoln Woods hoping for something interesting. The loop road is one-way, and when I first entered the park I could see a number of folks fishing from the rocks alongside this dam. That's what I wanted for a photo. A very brief downpour, though, sent everyone scurrying before I made it around the 2 1/2 mile loop. It was a brief outburst lasting less than a minute, but it was enough to send everyone packing. I arrived in time to photograph an empty bench. I'm convinced that, if it were not made with concrete legs, the bench would have fled as well.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
