I completely forgot about a lengthy lunch meeting scheduled for today. Normally when that happens I'll stop for a photo on my way into work. Instead, I had to hit my Bold Point "safety shot" location on my way home today. Just as I arrived, this father and son duo hopped into their small rowboat and paddled out for some late afternoon fishing. I do hope they remembered to check the tide charts, though. It was high tide and they were heading downriver. Paddling back up that tidal river with the tide going out will not be any fun at all.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

I can only wonder what happened! A wonderful capture of this duo! I sure do love seeing your photos of this and your regular photo stops are always so full of life and photo opportunities. Or perhaps you just have the talent to find them and make them happen, that could be it! x
