I stopped at Sabin Point at lunch today since I hadn't been there in a couple of months. It was extremely windy along the waterfront, and that was creating a bit of chop in the water. This lone motorboat was having a rough time of it in the chop. With each surge, it's bow would rise almost to a 45 degree angle, but that would dip the stern dangerously close to the waterline. Some of the waves were high enough that it was starting to take on water as the stern dipped lower and lower. If I didn't have to get back to work, I'd have stayed for some more interesting photos since I'm not sure that boat was destined to stay afloat through the afternoon.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-45ZDT3p/0/XL/2014%2006%2018_0095%20copy-XL.jpg

Looks like it wouldn't have stayed afloat too much longer Ron! A lovely capture of this boat and it must've been quite cool by the water! Sounds like lunch was lovely too! (:
