I decided to visit the Blackstone River Bikeway for today's photo. Just as I crossed the river, I spotted a family of four coming down the path. I liked this scene of father and daughter rounding the curve and heading towards the bridge over the canal. As he passed me, the guy asked, "Is it really 8.5 miles to the end?" I assured him it was, which elicited a very long sigh. Apparently, Mom - who was leading this pack - did plan to bike the distance. I hope one of them does remember that it's also 8.5 miles back.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
