Okay, I'm 0 for 2. This is the second Saturday in a row that I went to the Crescent Park Carousel to photograph the classic cars that are normally there. It's also the second Saturday in a row where that blasted carnival is still plopped down right where the classic cars should be. So once again I needed to grab a safety shot since my primary subject wasn't available. I managed to take this photo of a couple of fishermen heading out for an evening session. I'm told that fishing for stripers is best around sunrise and sunset, so I assume that's where they are heading. I'm not sure what that tiny lure is going to accomplish if it's stripers they're after, though.
Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, protect highlights, and details. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
