Greenville is one of the oldest villages in the town of Smithfield. There are some older style buildings in the center of the village that I've always liked. The one in today's photo used to have an old style boardwalk under the eaves, but they unfortunately replaced it with a concrete sidewalk several years ago. I still like the structure enough to use it as a photo representative of the village, though.

Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version on Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-czZcXsZ/0/XL/2014%2008%2001_0002%20copy-XL.jpg
Looks like such a cute little village! A great spot for a photo, it does suck that sometimes historical places are updated or changed. Still love the old feel to this spot and have you visited that Decadent Designs place? By the looks of it, it's some sort of bakery! :)
