Rooster Tail

I was heading to a farmer's market in Chepachet this afternoon when I notice this water skier playing out on Waterman's Pond. A quick illegal U-Turn to park was followed by my own personal game of Frogger, attempting to cross the four-lane state highway while adjusting the camera settings. The end result was worth it, though. I'd have liked more of a close-up on the skier, but given the length of his tow rope, it wouldn't be possible and still have the boat in the scene. I opted for this one showing a nice rooster tail as the skier cut across the boat's wake.
Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
