Soar Like an Eagle

I was in Cranston all morning for meetings, so on my way back to our Riverside facility after lunch, I decided to swing by Roger Williams Park for this photo of the large eagle statue near the Broad Street entrance. The statue's starting to fall into disrepair, however it's still a majestic figure pointing the way into the park. The light was striking the statue at just the right angle to highlight the contours and details in the sculpted winds, so I thought it the ideal day to showcase this icon.
Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, details, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
