We had a cookout at work today, which I totally forgot about until it was almost noon. As a result, I had to resort to my Bold Point safety shot location on my way home. There was nothing going on, and I thought I was going to come up empty. This boater came putt-putting on through, and it really didn't do much for me until he suddenly hit the gas and pulled this abrupt u-turn right before the bridge. We'll leave it to our imaginations to determine why he suddenly changed course in such a hurry.

Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-ZJFg5hG/0/XL/2014%2009%2008_0008%20copy-XL.jpg
Good one to get the wake.

A wonderful capture Ron and perhaps it was because he noticed a sea monster and had to quickly make a U-turn in order to avoid becoming fish bait! ;)
