On another note, a photography tip I learned at a recent National Geographic Photography workshop was to find different ways to capture iconic images in photos. For example, every Paris tourist with a camera wants to photograph the Eiffel Tower. Instead, look for a way to include that iconic image more subtly and unconventionally. Well, my daughter is my "iconic image." So, I loved that I could capture the context of her performance in this photo, telling a broader story.
