Magic Meadow

I do very little editing on my photos, but I thought I'd mess with this one a bit. I captured this moment while on a walk on the Flint Hills Nature Trail. This young buck was not as vivid in this composition as I had hoped, so I tried some different editing processes to try to bring him out a bit. This one was done with Photoshop equalize and Picasa saturation. Your input is much appreciated.
Gorgeous scene. Fun, funky processing. Posturized?

Very cool editing. It's fun to experiment with different effects with the right photo. Great, dreamy result here!

THe sky is magical! And the buck looks ethereal. Like you wanted it to blend in a bit and come to attention because of the lighting.

@amandal Thanks Amanda. Not posturized, but equalized, then some additional saturation.

It does have a very magical misty feel. the buck being slightly out of focus helps make it more mysterious...the sky is so awesome Kareen! :) Beautiful shot!

The sky, the white tree, and the young buck are magical, like a fairy tale land. I would try to crop out the green just under the buck; in fact, I did a quick experiment using the snipping tool and liked the result – my personal preference anyway.
