Look Beyond the Closed Door

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
- Alexander Graham Bell
This is a new quote to me, and I really like it so first thanks for sharing it. And of course, your photo is stellar! Great leading lines from the pathway and wonderful textures.

I love this overall rustic image--the gate, fence, and unpaved road. Black and white fits it so well.

So beautiful shot!

Lovely shot, it's so evocative of rural life - and umpteen gates to open and shut again. The left-hand gate looks like it might be what Aussie farmers call a COD gate - Carry Or Drag?
