Having a short respite break in beautiful Shoal bay. Drove to Box bay, found the water too cold for swimming but perfect for numbing our feet sufficiently to clamber over the rocky outcrop to reach this view. Hoping to make it out to the lighthouse tomorrow.
You are just down the road from us we live at Corlette. Have a good trip. Be careful crossing the Spit though it can be dangerous. We went over the last time on a boat from Nelson Bay. That way you can spend longer on Fingal Island.
