@trailertrash@x1nij I should have explained. After the lambs are born I put them in a jug with mom to bond. After a couple of days if they are doing well I put them in a mixing pen. This is where the mothers and babies learn to find each other in a group setting. The mother identifies her baby by smell and a special call (baa). I paint numbers on the baby and mother so If one gets lost I can help them find each other. This is especially helpful in the field. Thanks for asking.
