Belief in mermaids
Is like believing in a person.
You either believe in them, unproven, or you don't.
When you actually get to see them in all of their goodness
It's no longer ethereal.
Then, you either accept them for their truth or you are fool.
So, until then, what does it hurt to have a little belief?
