I had big plans, including using a flag (this years optional theme), for my annual world wide minute photo but I couldn’t find the flags I bought and then time escaped me. Silly me relied on the clock on the TV which is a minute late 😩
Never even thought of world wide minute today. I think we were on our way home from Newcastle after seeing an excellent play at the theatre and looking forward to dinner out with friends.
For the past two years I've nervously watched the clock all day so I wouldn't miss the time (one year that didn't work!) but today I set the alarm and remembered with no problem! I wasn't enjoying some time on the couch though when it went off- I was keeping track of yet another event that was being cancelled and notifying others accordingly. Fun shot!
@jb030958 a former 365er came up with the idea and she coordinates it every year as a FB event. It’s where you take a photo at 17.47 on the 15th March and post it online. It’s so much fun to see what people all over the world get up to at a certain minute of time.
i put a reminder on my phone and it did remind me 15 minutes prior in the middle of a discussion with a salesperson. it was quite embarrassing then i have to run off to find a subject to shoot. 'tis a good thing not a lot of people were about so i could run and not bump into people.
@summerfield I really enjoy participating in this event every year although most years something happens to interrupt my planned photo. Seeing what people are up to all over the world at that same minute is so interesting

capturing the moment is great, too!
