@casablanca thank you. The carpal tunnel houses the median nerve which runs from your forearm to your palm. Carpal tunnel syndrome is when the median nerve gets squeezed at the wrist resulting in a numb hand. They think I got mine from the two surgeries I’ve had on my wrist after breaking it in 2018.
@carole_sandford two years ago I had metal work inserted after falling at work and smashing my wrist, last year I had the metal work removed as my movement wasn’t the best and then I developed carpal tunnel so this is the third operation in three years
here's hoping a speedy recovery for you. i used to have carpal tunnel syndrome and my doctor was recommending surgery, but i had three friends who went through with the surgery and with different doctors and hospitals, all ended up with more problems. so i told the doctor that i'm not having my body cut up. therapy didn't work. but a year off did the trick. stay well, kathy.
you are surely a trooper for taking these photos in the hospital! I'm very impressed. I would be a bundle of nerves, you're alot braver than I am. Hoping the 3rd time is the charm as they say. 😉
