Look at how well dug in the claw on his front paw is :) One way environmental scientists use to try and determine koala activity in an area is to examine tree trunks and branches for these puncture marks.
It nearly makes my fingers ache to imagine that much pressure on my finger tips!
Even dug in like this, he doesn't look like he's straining to keep himself up there!! If that was me, you'd see sweat running down my face, a grimace on my face and veins sticking out of my neck!! LOL He looks totally at ease!! They area just soooooooo cute!! Just makes you want to hug him. FAV!

Kathy he does look at ease even with that grip. Elyse it amazes me when I watch one leaping up a tree as their grip is just so strong, it makes my fingers ache!
