@samae oh it's because she is old enough now to be on her own :) all 4 joey's born last year are now independent of their mums. Most of the mums will now have a new joey in pouch or very close to that.
Interestingly, Dewdrop and her mum are in the same large tree today, but they are not at all near each other, though I wouldn't be surprised if Dewdrop has tried approaching her the same way.
Usually at around 12 months old the joey's are big enough to look after themselves :)
