@beryl she was so funny as I wanted her to look up at me for the photo. I kept doing all kinds of silly things to try and wake her to no avail. it's hard to describe as the photos look quite different to the reality of the situation when I am taking the image. I was making noises, and doing things like 'dropping' the camera lens on the quad bike (it's of course attached to the camera so bounces but doesn't drop), coughing, pretending to sneeze, making kissing noises. nothing got further than these barely opened eyes and the head lifted like 2 inches then back down to full sleep. koalas are like nothing else on earth :)
@koalagardens Would you say a mind of her own , then , or intoxicated . ha ! :) Would have loved to be a fly on the wall or better still a video camera to capture your antics and noises ! must have been very amusing ! ha ha !
