Nick is in a separate tree to Stevie more and more often, I think she will sneak right off pretty soon as I am sure she also has another joey in pouch.

VML how you captured his coat. It appears to be springy and thus effective as an insulation depending on the weather...or am I am up a gum tree and way off beam?
@s4sayer koala fur is one of the best insulations, this is why they first got into such trouble as they were killed by the millions every year until 1930 when the government finally said no more and made it illegal. The pelts were highly prized in England and surrounds. They have never recovered from this slaughter as their habitat has been taken :(
@30pics4jackiesdiamond thank you, I'm still safe so far - some fires undoubtedly are arson, but there are still well over 100 fires just in NSW, no idea of the direct cause of every one, but the overall cause is the extreme weather conditions
Everyday I think I couldn't like another of your photos more - but I am wrong day after day!! This is just so beautiful. The light picks up on her fur and makes her look irresistible!!! Just beautiful sensitive photography.
Heard on the news today that a nearby power station at risk and that the fires care aused by arson. Appalling. Hope you're all safe x
