This is another photo of Hugo taken in the same spot as the one uploaded yesterday - but from a very different perspective. Now I have taken the quad bike up a nearby hill so that I am fairly much level with him.
@gardenfolk yes the fires settled as the rain came in huge amounts in late January. the impact has not stopped, and will take years to resolve if things were to be perfect from here forward. thanks for asking!
@koalagardens Thankful they are out for now! And I know it will take a very long time for nature to repair and replenish. On to the next challenge...take good care! Nature and animals help to keep us calm and to remember to live in the moment.
