Ash is quite difficult to photograph as he always seems to have something between him and myself.
I'm not sure that I could get the texture quite right on this one, it follows the theme I've set for Friday photos this month and I'm out of time to possibly have tried on a different image. Funny how some days things fall into place and others are a struggle.
Have a safe and beautiful weekend.
So adorable, those little feet are something else! Just took another look at the other two in your calendar, the texture looks great!
I took a look at your reply to Babs, also looked at PS tutorials. I did not find one appropriate as I do not really know my way around PS. You are so clever and know so much about it. Could you maybe please recommend one?
I find that taking photos of really mundane things like grass, dirt, bark, bench, and then playing with the filters using blur and options shown here can make some lovely textures.
Or sometimes I then take them into Topaz which has textures, and layer one of their textures over an image I've made, and it creates a whole new texture.
I notice now sometimes I see images people upload here and I think ooooh that would convert nicely to a texture! :)
Hope that helps, I have no real science to what I do.
Thanks for telling me how you do your texture photos, very interesting.

here's some that give some ideas (I just play about really and then forget how I did things!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfogUHUWDtU&ab_channel=SpoonGraphics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZMkzjrA5hM&ab_channel=MattBorchert is another one
