@jernst1779 sure do - they average 18 - 22 hours a day sleeping. This sleep ranges from deep sleeping to dozing. Eucalyptus leaves are very low in calories and they have to stuff themselves full then sleep to digest.

@seacreature yes indeed, they have very dense coats that repel the water. it is what made them such prize pelts when this country was invaded. Finally in the late 1920's after killing more than 8 million the government woke up that they had nearly wiped them out and made it illegal to do so.
