I am actually quite close to Bullet (only about 5 m away from the tree, and he is only about 2 m from the ground) in one of the plantation tallowwoods. The tree is small as it is regularly cut to feed koalas in care.I didn't expect him to be just here and stopped at this point, took some photos then moved away.
He has the best character-filled face!
A very wonderful portrait of Bullet. I wonder why he would choose to be in such a small tree when you have other bigger ones. Maybe it had was especially tender and yummy leaves.
@gardencat oh yes good question - there are only a handful of tallowwoods out on the property, but lots of them in the plantation and Bullet is very fond of tallowwood 😊
If a picture is worth one thousand words, then this picture tells me exactly why your work is so vitally important. This is a huge, enormous, colossal, smashing fav for me. I agree with Corinne- what a privilege you have to be friends with the koalas! And what a privilege for me to be included through your pictures, videos and writing!
